Who we are

Forkcast Editorial is the in house research team behind Forkcast; the India first HORECA operating brain. We publish data led, operator tested writing on restaurant unit economics, supply chain volatility, festival driven demand calendars, and the operational details of running a restaurant, hotel F&B desk, or catering business in India.

Our writing is sourced from three streams: (1) a panel of 200+ Indian restaurant openings tracked 2023-2026; (2) daily Agmarknet mandi snapshots across 6 commodities and 12 states; and (3) operational telemetry from Forkcast pilot outlets in Pune, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Where we cite a number, we cite the source. Where we don't have the data, we say so.

We are not a marketing content shop. Every post is reviewed by a working operator (chef, owner, or F&B head) before publish. We update old posts when the underlying numbers change.
