What we collect
We collect the operational data you choose to connect — POS exports or live POS integrations (Petpooja, UrbanPiper, Posist), recipe data you enter, financial inputs (rent, salaries, utilities) you provide, and account identifiers (email, name, outlet name). We do not collect government IDs or payment cards directly; payments are handled by our PCI-compliant billing partner.
How we use your data
POS data is used solely to compute forecasts, food cost percentages, P&L panels, menu engineering scores, staffing plans, and supply alerts for your account. Aggregate, anonymised statistics may be used to improve forecast models. We do not share or sell your data.
Where it's stored
Forkcast runs on Vercel (compute) and Supabase (database) with primary region in Mumbai (bom1). Data at rest is encrypted; data in transit uses TLS 1.2+. Access is restricted to engineering staff under audit.
Your rights (DPDP Act 2023)
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to access, correct, erase, and port your data. Email privacy@forkcast.in and we will respond within 30 days. See our DPDP statement for the full procedure.
Cookies & analytics
We use essential first-party cookies for authentication. With consent we use Vercel Web Analytics and Sentry for performance and error monitoring; both are configured for minimal data collection. You can revoke consent at any time via the banner.
